Men in Kilts!

Tim and I had a wonderful weekend. We headed out on Friday morning on the new bike.

Although this picture was taken last week in Annapolis we headed to Deep Creek this weekend. We took our time going up on Route 70, 68 and Old National Pike. Was a great ride. We dropped our stuff at the lake house and headed out for a ride around the area. Friday was a glorious day for riding.

Saturday we headed to the Garrett County Fair Grounds for the Highland Festival. Men in KILTs everywhere. It was a wonderful little festival......I will be attending again next year. There was great music including an Irish rock band with a bagpipe.

There were Highland Games.

Loved the Border Collie doing her stuff.

She got them in the fence just like Babe. 

The combined bands were a real high light of the day.

Must have been doggies day out all kinds of "Irish, Scottish and Welsh" dogs all over the fairgrounds they even had a special parade for them.

After spending a good part of our day there we headed out for more riding and exploring. I tried clicking a few pictures as we drove some worked and some didn't but have to share.

Sadly the weekend had to end and we headed home today. Looking forward to the next time. Oh well back to real life and work again tomorrow.....but dreaming of being away.
